Default Tokyo governor's remarks an insult to comfort women: MOFA

Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara's assertion that women were not forced into ****** servitude by the Japanese military during World War II seriously insulted the character of these women, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said Saturday.

The ministry was responding to several reports by mainstream Japanese media Friday in which Ishihara said there was "no evidence" that the women, known euphemistically in Taiwan as "comfort women," were forced to provide *** to Japanese soldiers during the war.

One report by Jiji.com even cited Ishihara as saying that prostitution was a very good way of making a living at that time and that there were no signs that the women had entered the *** trade unwillingly.

In other reports, Osaka Governor Toru Hashimoto said "no evidence" existed that proved Imperial Japanese Army soldiers had tricked women into ****** slavery.

Ah yes Ishihara... he likes to spew racists and retarded crap all the time.

Tsunami? - A punishment from god because Japanese are weak

    Gays? - Genetically defective people

If im correct he wants to ban anime/manga because its "sick" oh and he wrote a book about raping a woman. How people can vote for this retard is beyond my understanding.

During the 2012 Summer Olympics, Ishihara stated that "Westerners practicing judo resembles beasts fighting. Internationalized judo has lost its appeal." He added, "In Brazil they put chocolate in norimaki, but I wouldn't call it sushi. Judo has gone the same way.
    Just wiki this moron....

Well the more serious thing is that Brazilians put chocolate in sushi. Maybe because of this Brazilian-Japanese are shunned in Japan?

A slight problem with the Japanese is that they are a bit too forgiving of odd personalities like this. They don't really pay a lot of attention to which politicians they elect anymore, as they feel anyone is as oblivious and ineffective as the other in not knowing how to make their lives improve. With prolonged economic stagnation comes gradual decline in the quality of governance.

Well in one of the most male-dominated patriarchal developed nations with a strong nationalist streak, this doesn't really come as a surprise.

A 'Fawlty Towers' episode may have been based on the cry, 'Don't mention the war !' when the hotel had German visitors. In Japan most state sponsored high school history books exclude almost everything that happened from 1939 to 1945. Perhaps this might explain why there are so many d**kheads in Japan who utter this complete and indefensibly sh**e !

Textbooks exclude almost everything? That would be rather extreme. Do you have any sources for this?
