This is a 63 m Stealth Fast Missile Patrol Vessel (KRI Klewang) for TNI-AL (Indonesian Navy). Very futuristic looking...almost like the LCS from US.

Those episodes on the Ady Gil were excellent. I think you could easily find the episodes online. They tried dragging it back but it was taking on too much water and the un-hooked it to sink. Very beautiful boat.

As far as I remember the skipper accused Sea Shepherd that they sunk the vessel to earn publicity or something similar.. Then the guy forced to leave the team.

What is the armament of Visby class? Do they still have only the guns?

Two of them have been updated to version 5, with RBS-15, torpedoes, depth charges, 57 mm gun and mines. The rest of them will have full capabilities by 2014.

- Highly seaworthy and stable weapons platform - Concealed missiles, naval gun and small arms - High strength, lightweight, carbon composite construction - Minimal draft for inshore and shallow water operations - Capable of high average speeds in adverse weather - Long range capability with low crew requirement - Stealth design with low detection signatures - Special Ops unit & 11 m high-speed RHIB

Trimarans offer very stable weapons platforms, and can carry various Missile systems; including Type 705 ( up to 8 ), RBS15, Penguin or Exocet, and 40-57mm Naval Guns, or a CIWC (Close In Weapon System). These can be mounted high on the superstructure, giving better range and firing arc. Sensors can also be installed high up without concerns for stability. This first ship will carry a turn-key system delivered by CSOC and CPMIEC China, including rapid fire CIWS, combat control and missile systems. The exact configuration of this system is still classified.

Swedish Navy's HMS Visby test fires first guided missile

The Swedish Navy's first Visby-class corvette HMS Visby has successfully test fired a RBS15 anti-ship missile, marking a major milestone in the development of the ship, off dry-dock at Karlskrona, Sweden.

Swedish Defence Procurement Agency (FMV) Visby corvettes project manager Anders Nilsson said: "This was perhaps the most important last milestone before the first Visby-class corvette enters full operational service."

Third Naval Warfare Flotilla Visby's trials crew head Frank Johnson added: "Both the crew of the HMS Visby and staff have worked extremely hard in recent times to get everything to work and it is particularly gratifying that all went according to plan."

The FMV is scheduled to deliver the final version of the first two Visby corvettes, equipped with an entire range of heavy weapons, to the Swedish Armed Forces in the later part of 2012.

Thank you guys again! So I see the vessel has the launchers on the sides. I can see also the position of the torpedo launchers. However I cannot see where anti-aircraft missiles could be placed (according to some sources) or a CIWS..

Ur welcome, according to the pic below the VLS anti-aircraft missile is located behind the helicopter bunker station...CMIIW
