Barbarians.
Take it with a grain of salt, but here are pics from a pro-US demonstration condemning the attack and murder of a DoS employee

Who put up the money for the signs and the crowd?
Who sprang for the simple paper and marker signs? I'm not sure.
Is it so damned hard to believe that some decent folks were embarrassed by the savages who burnt the embassy?
I do indeed take this with a grain of salt but if Americans burned a Libyan embassy and carried the body of the ambassador through the streets I would certainly distance myself from those that did it.
I'm sure there are decent people in Libya disgusted by what happened.
Nice to see that someone cares. It is important to remember that in Libya, like everywhere else, most people are normal and just want to live a regular life with their kids.
Then, of course the cynical person in me says that they are just trying to avert a military response to the cowardly murder of our people.
Then the desire for revenge comes out and I want to see someone's blood for this.
The world we live in.![]()
Numb nuts did not see a threat on 9/11 in the Middle East for our personal, wouldn't you think the guy would have had all our embassies on high alert, time for a change 11/12
I wouldn't be surprised if this rally was staged by the Libyan government and the participators are actually just civil servants or family members of officials who have an interest to convince the American (and world) public of this other voice. I doubt if it was really a spontaneous rally.
Would you get off your couch/take off work/take a long lunch break and hold a sign in a foreign language you might not speak in front of cameras which happen to know when and where you would show up to show you like Libyans?I do indeed take this with a grain of salt but if Americans burned a Libyan embassy and carried the body of the ambassador through the streets I would certainly distance myself from those that did it.
Not my point - media friendly signs, getting cameras into place, getting a crowd to stand around and stick to a message is not "random". Who paid and organized the thing is relevant. Is it so damned hard to believe that some decent folks were embarrassed by the savages who burnt the embassy?
No different then when the one eyed reporter who was shilling for the terrorists in Syria got it and signs and rallies for her appeared.

Me? No. But plenty of Americans would. I'm not the protest type.
What is "media friendly" about the signs? B/c they're in English? Americans are the intended audience of the rally perhaps which makes sense to be in English. If the world at large is the audience it still makes sense as English is Lingua Franca.
Getting cameras in place? Even uncivilized countries that only exist to be exploited and make terrorists have media who get themselves in place with cameras to capture stories. Its called basic journalism.
Who said it was random? And what does that have to do with the genuineness of it? Social media can organize rallies and protest in fast order and large scale with uniformity of message. Look at Russia earlier this year. That was tens of thousands. They also all wore the same color and had the same message. And there were cameras! Who payed them all? Who organized those poor stooges?
Now I have presented perfectly reasonable ways that everything in the pictures could be EXACTLY what it looks like. Unless you can present sources and evidence for this conspiracy, Occam's Razor tells me they most likely are people who wish it to be known that not all Libyans are savages.

Yes, people did protest the barbarous attack.
Yes terrorists organize rallies and protests. Not sure what that has to do with asking who put this one together.Getting cameras in place? Even uncivilized countries that only exist to be exploited and make terrorists have media who get themselves in place with cameras to capture stories. Its called basic journalism.
It is not conspiracy talk to wonder who footed the bill and put the thing together.Unless you can present sources and evidence for this conspiracy,
Practically no one would. It would be hard to crop those photos.Me? No. But plenty of Americans would. I'm not the protest type.
You missed my point entirely. Media gets itself in place without any outside impetus.
What bill??? Seriously? How much do you think it costs to stand somewhere with a paper sign in hand?
Americans won't attend rallies or protests sparked by an unjust killing? Really? Google "41 shots".
Domestic issue which touched on racial politics. The protest was organized by professional protesters like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson took part.Americans won't attend rallies or protests sparked by an unjust killing? Really? Google "41 shots".
