    There's the commemorative events around Arnhem, Ginkel, etc. each year, but this is the first time i've heard about a football club participating in them.

    yep i know i spelt it wrong...i apologise but as it was in the title i couldnt change it in the edit feature.

    yep been and done one of the jumps with my unit (see username! ) a few years ago. i wasnt able to get over this year as other things took priority

    They're being auctioned for charity. I don't think this is anything more than a one off run, as that would probably lower their bidding value.

    I really like this action of doing the 'Airborne-game'. Great stuff.
    Unfortunately Vitesse only drew (although they are doing well, currently second in the table after FC Twente) but they will wear the Airborne shirts one more time in a cup game against Gemert.
