Its frightening how such small, immature and unnecessary provocations creates a domino effect, starting off with only 2 neighbors and escalating to a full blown large scale asymmetric war with thousands of deaths of individuals that could been to a better use in this already somewhat wicked world. You know the friction than evolves when 2 best friends or siblings spend to much time together and ends up getting on each other's nerves, and how this easily can be solved by separating both parts from each others for a while? Many palestinians aren't really Arabs, if you compare them to the people in the Arabian Peninsula. Palestinians are originally descendent of the Canaanites, Philistines and other 'sea people' who lived in that area centuries ago. They are also mixed with the Arameans. Another example:
Just like the Lebanese are originally Phoenicians, Iraqis and Syrians Arameans, the Egyptians Coptic, etc.

I wasn't speaking about the Palestinian nation, but simply about the history of the people who are living in that area for ages. The 'Palestinian' may be a invented thing, but they are descendants of the people who historically have inhabited that area (Canaan) for millennia. The only thing is that they are Arabized and Islamized.
