Rain still not finish his military service?
Even Korean celebrities are not exempt from obligatory military service. Few celebrities have evaded their compulsory service, but most celebrities fulfill their obligations to their nations. Hyun-bin, Kang Dong-won and Jo In-sung are currently serving their military service. If you do not know much about Korean actors, if you ever look at the Korean dramas they appeared in, you would be able to guess their popularity in Korea. Many fans were sad that the actors had to join the army when they were at the pinnacle of their career. However, these actors are completing their service and are returning. They would have felt proud to have served for their country despite their status as a celebrity. Nowadays, many Korean nationals abroad are voluntarily joining the army. Sacrificing the wealth and honor of an individual to serve their country is a very noble act.
It's good to see that even the capitalist puppets of imperial US adhere to sound communistic ideals!
On a serious note, why wouldn't actors and the lot serve in the army? You have compulsory military service don't you?
so this is a non anti-North Korea thread by powerfulguy? I can't believe my eyes
Im pretty sure North Korea celebrities serve their time too :P
Has Psy done his military service? Oppa ROKA style?
Ugh...if all these celebrities joined, it's gonnamake all those DADT guys freak out.
What about that very good Starcraft player, cant remember his name but i knew played with Terran, last time i read about it your Air Force and Navy were arguing about who should have him.
Ok, thanks for the info.Lim Yo Hwan (Boxer)? He served in the Air Force (and even started an Air Force Starcraft team).
I think in S.K. the military has its own teams.... just like in the US the Army sponsored a NASCAR team etc - same thing.
Though in the case of S.K. the players are actually enlisted during that time.
