Have you tried contacting the base historian's office?
I am building a website for the Elmendorf Amateur Radio Society and find I don;t have a F-4 and TU-95 intercept pic by an Alaskan F4.
F15 and F22 sure those were easy. But the venerable Phantom II is MIA.
If you have pictures of any TU-95 Intercepts by Alaska F-4's please let me know!
I am retired AF enlisted and a Disabled Vet. I worked in the Alerts Cells launching some of these intercepts from both King Salmon and Galena AFS.
As one of the few military recreation amateur stations still operating on a military base I strive to ensure we only post accurate information on our website.
Interested in Ham Radio or just curious about Elmendorf AFB? Stop by http://kl7air.us sometime.

The last one looks like it might have an NF tail code too.
F-4's in Alaska had jungle camo.
USSR Bear must be Badger. Nice picture!
Alaskan F-4E intercepting a Bear is really MIA. Couldn't find any better. Another Badger intercept by an Alaskan F-4E, by default.

maybe if he scrub through the "intercept" thread of this forum, he might get what he was looking for.
