    South Koreaís Danbi Unit has returned home from UN peacekeeping operations in Haiti after two years and ten months.

    Five-hundred people attended a disbanding ceremony at Incheon on Monday, including the Danbi Unitís 240 service members and their family members.

    In particular, eight Haitian children suffering from heart disease arrived in South Korea with the Danbi Unit soldiers. The children are expected to receive surgery free of charge.

    34 months straight of deployment? Or were there rotations?

    They were deployed in half-year rotations.
