Interesting footage, thx for posting. Unfortunately for these men, they would be using pretty much these same uniforms in the coming, horrific russian winter of 41/42.
I didn't see it as propaganda. It was just video taken by German soldiers that hit the eastern front. I see it as the equivalent to our soldiers taking video of Iraq and Afghanistan and dubbing Five Finger Death Punch - Bad Company over it.
Great video, thanks for sharing. It really showed all the peaceful times these soldiers got to enjoy before they were thrown into hell.

There is only 1 minute of footage from the campaign at the best. Everything else is training before the campaing. Very interesting footage. I guess it was a scout unit, wasn't it?
