Senior Muslim Brotherhood official Essam el-Erian says Egyptian Jews are welcome in Egypt, should leave Israel to Palestinians.
A senior Muslim Brotherhood official called on Jews who immigrated to Israel from Egypt to return to Egypt and leave Israel to the Palestinians, Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youmreported on Friday.
Senior Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood offcial Essam el-Erian said in an interview to television station Dream TV that every Egyptian has the right to live in Egypt, and Egyptian Jews living in Israel were contributing to the occupation of Arab lands, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
"Egyptian Jews should refuse to live under a brutal, bloody and racist occupation stained with war crimes against humanity," Erian said.
"Why did [former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel] Nasser expel them from Egypt?" Erian asked in the interview.

What an odd idea to ask the Jews to return to a country from which they were expelled 2 generations ago in order to live under the Sharia constitution.
At least Mr. Essam el-Erian recognizes that the Jews were expelled from Egypt unlike Shelata and his historical revisionism.

I wouldn't think so. Given that you're German, you might wonder how many German descendents from those displaced after WWII resettled in the German East, which has been occupied by Poland after WWII. After the wall came down, there would be a general possibility to do so now. The answer is: pretty much none. Everyone there speaks Polish now and German tradition ahs been all but eradicated. And most of this country was purely German, not "only" a minority living amongst Polish... So why should the Juice return to a country which has just adopted some a sharia backed constitution?
Those pogroms against Coptics lately sure will help convince religious minorities who have been driven out of Egypt that it's safe to return.
