    Cool Reserve Special Forces/Commandos

    Hello everybody!

Australia: 1st Commando Regiment, RAAF Regiment(2 coys consist also some reserve personell)
Czech Republic: Special Reconnaissance Company within 601.Special Forces Group(only some 20 men)
Denmark: Special Reconnaissance Company(Saerling Stotte - og Rekognosceringskopagni)
France: 5th reserve coy(within 17e Regiment de Genie Parachutiste)
Lithuanian: KASP Rezervine Kuopa(Reserve coy in Jeger batallion)
    Ireland: reserve element within ARW
Italy: reserve coy of 9th assault regiment Col Moschin(not sure if that is true)
Izrael: Unit Alpinistim(protection unit on Mount Hermon) and Lotar Eilat(CT unit)
Norway:Jegertropp(recon platoon in every military district), Skarpskyttertropp(snipers),
    Dykkerlag(divers) and Innsatstropp(protection unit)
Serbia: some reserve element within 63rd parachute battalion
    Sweden:8 inteligence coys, 122 intervention platoons(Insatsplutoner) and 27 intervention
    coys(Insatskompaniledning)
    Switzerland: 17th recon parachute company
United Kingdom: 21st and 23rd TA SAS

The RAAF Air Defence Squadrons are not SF/SOF in any way shape or form, that goes for the regular and reserve components.

1 Commando are covered in this thread. http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...G-pics-in-here

These are not reserves. They are (mostly unpaid) volunteer Home Guard. They support Danish SOF, but are not really SOF themselves.

    Hellenic Armed Forces reserves association
ΛΕΦΕΔ (in greek) is an association of Hellenic Armed Forces (Army, Navy AirForce) and does not consists only by special forces or commando reservists, but has ofcourse many of them at its power. Some of the photos below are from the British Army exercise "Cambrian Patrol 2011" and that's why you will see SA-80 rifles.

Yeah, you can scratch the whole Norway-section as well from that list. Old, outdated and/or never had anything to do with what this thread is supposed to be about. Homeguard Innsats as parttime SOF... give me a break...

Sorry, but our NG LRSU's (U.S.) are not considered SOF material. LRSU's support conventional branchs.

Well, point taken, especially for Norwegians but after unit HV - 016 was disbanded in 2010 is likely that their tasks were handed over to some other home guard unit, especially if they are composed of former SF personell. Anyway here are some good footage of HV - 016, anybody knows if unit was reactivated after tragic events in Oslo or is it only rumor?
