im no expert, but those 'round things' look like lights
id imagine the speakers are there to play dubsteb at drug dealers in the hope they will surrender....
The inset photo at the bottom right are sonobouy/chaff/flare launch tubes, I believe.
I grew up near NAS Point Mugu and its Sea Testing Range. For many years their HH-46 SAR bird (like this one from Pax River) was used to clear the Range of boats and ships right before a missile test. I could be wrong, but isn't this a speaker (circled) for communicating with boats and/or crews on the ground?

I don't see any speakers on this helo, but speakers have been used on helos in the past for PSYOPS.
See 8 or 9 photos down in this thread

This is echo 5, proceeding to pump up the jam.
At least in Greece, speakers are used in SAR helos to give directions to the rescued or in Police helos for similar reasons
I thought it was because the noise of the rotors drowned out the engine noise, the speakers are boosted to a level just above the noise created by the rotors.
Now you can hear the engines as well as the rotors
but I could be wrong ?
Why have speakers when helo can make music

Guess you haven't seen Skyfall, that is exactly the reason helicopters need speakers.
