Charles Allan Gilbert's camouflage
Charles Allan Gilbert was an artist/illustrator known for his visual illusions, mostly the "All Is Vanity" drawing that has since been countlessly used in various set-ups etc, most notably perhaps in a cover of a Def Leppard album but according to wikipedia the man also did some WWI naval camouflages.
Can anyone here provide more information about his work in the USN? I.e. how did the camo look etc.
