That is why it always seems strange to me, you would think at least one of the people filmed would attempt to beat the **** out of the attacker in some form of another.

At least some people tried to do something, I salute their courage ! I'll be honest, I don't what I'd do. There's as much probability of me fleeing screaming for help ("SOMEONE'S BEING ATTACKED !! HELP !!!" or "FIRE !!!!"), as there would be of me jumping on the assaulter and going for his eyes (with the possible lawsuit afterwards...).
