    Default Australian International Airshow 2013

The highly acclaimed Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition has a long standing reputation as one of the largest and most exciting events of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

From February 26 to March 3 in 2013, Avalon Airport near Geelong in Victoria will once again play host to a showcase of aviation and aerospace industry exhibitors, an outstanding display of military and commercial aircraft and a spectacular public airshow.

The Australian Defence Force, and in particular the Royal Australian Air Force are major partners in this outstanding event.

National and international performers, an outstanding array of visiting military and vintage aircraft and aircraft from the world of airsport and general aviation will all come together at Avalon Airport in 2013 to celebrate ‘The Power of Flight’.

Cheers mate. Will have to get down to Avalon one of these days. I've always wanted to go, just never had the cash.

Seeing it in 1080P goes a long way.

Yeah, most of the above recordings are excellent. I'd also would like to be there some day - but I'd have to get a good camera and lenses first.

This particular one is a museum piece:

According to wikipedia, it's one of five Meteors still flying in the world - the other four are in the UK.

The Super Hornet and the Connie look amazing. The Meteor is quieter than I thought.
