Anybody know if anyone makes a closed-top single (as in holds ONE) MOLLE AR mag pouch with either a velcro or snap closure? Kinda like the old issue MOLLE II pouches from SDS, but only made for one mag. Does such an animal even exist?
Assuming this is included in what you mean by closed-top, these are technically double mag pouches, but the elastic band around the middle is usually good enough to keep a single mag perfectly secure.
A lot of other companies make the same basic design, so if the price isn't right or you don't like Blackhawk, you can shop around. If you really need a mag pouch that completely covers the magazine (like the old SDS pouches), I'm not really should that I know where to look.
Ratamacue, thanks. Not a BH guy. I've used alot of their stuff over the years, but I'm just not a fan. I found this from UW Gear http://www.uwgearinc.com/ar-support-gear.html It looks interesting... I think I'll try shopping around a bit.
