Hi DB, thanks. It's a G&P M3 replica scope on a STAR QD scope mount.

I'm looking into getting a S.O.Tech Callahan vest over at OPTG.

Here's a picture of me wearing my MOLLE gear, with my new TM XM177E2:

I'm sure someone's going to rip me a new one for wearing a Fabrique Nationale patch on my right arm. I feel that after doing lotsa repair and rangework with FN M240's (L7A1, MAG-58's), M249's, and some FN-built M16A2 and A4's, I kinda "earned" it. I'm probably wrong.

I just got the XM177E2 (CAR15) this week, and am satisfied with its performance thus far. I don't intend to upgrade it or anything fancy. I'm keeping it simple, with the tactical light (right now a Mag-lite w00t w00t) being the sole exception. I use 550 cord as a sling, with it only long enough to attack to a 'biner on my shoulder, creating a sort of 3-point version of a single point sling. It's fine so far.

Here's my old ALICE setup, which I prefer to wear if I'm out shooting at stuff in the desert with real guns:

I prefer ALICE for shooting with real guns, as I primarilly own scoped bolt-action rifles, so ****e is *THE* position to shoot from. With MOLLE and vests, you end up having alot of sharp things stabbing into your chest, and it's generally very uncomfortable.

As for painted guns, I've got a few:
    Old, painted TM M4A1 AEG:

    Remington 870 12ga 2 3/4in "CQB Scattergun":

Well, this doesn't count as "paint", but it's applied to the gun. It's the usual camo duct tape seen in gun stores. Rifle is an M44 SSK Karbine in 7.62x54Rmm:

TM M16A2 AEG converted to a sort of M16A4, with First Samco (Fobus) M44L rail system:

Alright, enough showing off. Good to see more people aren't afraid to put some Krylon on their guns!

    Dear kapral ,

My XM177E2 (rather call it a CAR15) is a Tokyo Marui model. I think it'll be the last airsoft gun I get for awhile. Trying to save up for an M1A Scout. EOTech 552's are cheap here, so that's my new MBR combo. More fun than airsoft anyday!

Can you guys own or shoot firearms in Japan? (I really don't know)

*Points at other, actual guns on screen* Hey, these are better! Let's talk about these!

    Hehehe...

EDIT: ICE PIC, you should put your CAR15 on SAFE man, even if you're just taking a picture. If I was an instructor, I'd have a field day with you.

    ICE_PIC_JAPAN,

deinetly yes, ERDL is better than woodland I have got one green dominant uniform with hat and one brown dominant jacket, but they wore out very quickley
what is more funny, in viet nam those bonies were rather uncommon, but now mor rare are OG boonies than ERDLs

This one is actually good! plastic is the main downfall, but its got good metal parts.
