Haha best one so far :P
Maybe all you real soldiers are just jealous bekus Airsofters got beter gear the the real deal? XD
That would be another extreme...
Do you really need an explanation? Imagine you are an US soldiers, you've done all the incredibly difficult and dangerous things they do in military. And then you see some kids, who have no friggin' idea what it really takes to be a soldier, playing you. That's in the best case; in the worst case these kids come to the forum like this one and trying participate in the "real thing" discussions.
It doesn't give the right to the military guys to insult you on every occasion though... not everybody has to be a soldier...
Now guys! Clearly the airsofters are sensitive little souls who get upset when you invade their territory, leave them alone to discuss their little games and go back to the big boys forums.![]()
No ant what says that the airsofter isent a soldier?
Me:
10months 1st Armored Battalion
4months Rapid Reaction Eng Coy
3years National Guard
From November this year iam going in as a Fulltime proffesional Soldier.
So maybe the "real" soldiers are a bit quik saying that all the airsofters have no idea what it is to be a real soldier?
I dont give a dam if some one plays that he is a soldier on the weekends.
Wy dont i care? bekus i know who i will have next to me in combat and i know that that guy know what hes job is. So wy care abut some guys that want to have some fun on the weekends?
And saying that Airsoft isent good military training is lying.
It isent any difrence to have a real or a airsoft M4 if your out trining Recon, patrolls or Basic MOUT (hous clearing for exampel)
/SFC Hornet
So your saying that its difrent even if your not training with ammo in the real gun?
I have done a hel of allot of Army training in difrent typ of ways and if your not using ammo (allot of times you dont) Its no difrent from training with a airsoft gun.
I have done 30km Recon walk with out ammo in the army and i have done the same thing with airsoft.
You realy think ther is any difrence?
Dident say that ther is but 80% of military training isent shooting and what iam saying that you can do that with a replica just as you can with the real rifle.
So let me get this right. If you have never been in the Army, you're a pussy poser wannabe? But if you have been in the Army, your a hardcore kickass and chew bubblegum bad mother ****er? I grew up around the Army. My dad's a retired Maj, his brother a Col, other brother Capt, dad's dad was a MSG in WW2. One cousin is EOD in Iraq, another is 82nd, and another is in Basic.
Out of every male in my family I'm the only one not to join. I tried to enlist when I was 17. When 9/11 happened. They turned me down because I had a GED. Last time I took an IQ test, I scored 137. I was in the Gifted classes in school, but got kicked out because of getting into fights. Does that make me a coward, or a pussy? Sure, I could probably get in now, but why would I want to put my life on the line for an Army that said I wasn't good enough?
When I was old enough to hold a gun I was shooting. In grade school, I was playing M.I.L.E.S. at the former JRTC in Ft Chaffee, AR. So carrying a "Real" M16A2, playing against real soldiers doesn't account for anything? Sure you can say that there isn't any "oh ****! factor" like being fired at by a real gun. But I could always sneak around and get "kills" against professional soldiers.
I am in no way, shape, or form saying that I am a better soldier than a soldier. I have the utmost respect for the men an women who serve their respective countries around the world.
But the almighty Hornet85, impersonator of US Special Forces has spoken, you can't dare to question what he says, he has been there, Done that, with the benefit of some Harmy Training Sir, so how can any of us mere mortals live up to that.
This guy is one of the biggest Dumbarses we have yet seen.
