Damn, that's alot of shtuff you've got there, Nextmayor!!!

How has the metal body on your CAR15 held up thus far? I've had 2x TM plastic bodies break on me thus far, so next time I'm getting a CA M15 RIS. Something that can better withstand a week in the field than a plastic toy (even though they are all toys, I call 'em "training aides") .

Funny thing is I used to wear a TON of gear, as seen in my previous posts, but I actually just don't wear as much now, just VietNam-war era M1966 H-suspenders, and ALICE crap. I do alot of crawling and long-range shooting, KIND-OF sniper-like, minus the fact I don't wear my ghillie suit or act as a sniper. Therefore, I like to have little or no pouches on my chest or front, just my pace cord. I guess things evolve. Plus, it takes me about 2 seconds at the most to ditch or remove my web gear now, whereas it took me over a minute to take off all my MOLLE and EAGLE chest crap harness's and **** like that.

Anywho, good to see some positive airsofting!

    Hooah!

    MrSkorotsnoy:

I've got the Hurricane "COLT" Metal Body on my TM M4 RIS and I love it. I have had no issue with it at all. I've played in the mud, rain, sun, and snow and it's been 100% good to go. I got the Hurricane, because one of my plastic body's tabs broke with in a month after getting the M4. I'd say loose the plastic and step up to the Hurricane metal body. Here are the only two negetives I can think to say about it:

    1) No directions
    2) The front reciever pin hole is really tight. I reamed mine ount just a little bit, but other people have just worked the pin in and out until it loosened up.

The positive far out weigh the negetives:

    1) Comes in a variety of color, trademarks, and configurations
    2) uniform finish
    3) even with out directions, fairly strait forward to assemble
    4) Working charging handle / dust cover assembly
    5) Locks up the M4 real tight
    6) works with a bunch of mags (G&P's, TM, whatever)

If you are looking for a AEG that you can beat around, a M4 with metal body and one piece barrel is pretty tough. I still wouldn't want to use it as a club or drop it a bunch of times, but the barrel and body combo eliminate a lot, if not all of the M4/M16 weaknesses.

As for what I wear in the field, I guess I didn't type that correctly. I don't wear all of that at once. Obviously I either wear the Blackhawk Omega Vest or the G&P AAV with all the MOLLE pouches separately. On top of that, the sustainment pouch and waist pack are just used to hold my knee pads and my sidearm/holster/belt until I get to the field.

My load out really isn't that much. Just 7 mags for the M4, 2 for the SVI, an extra AEG battery, my dead rag, and two cold smokes. In longer / continuous games, I do up my load out quite a bit though.

Ah, sounds good. I wanted to get a Bushmaster metal body for my AR. I don't like Colt as much, no offense!

I'll post some pictures of my loadout in a while, but for now, I've got a few pictures of my old issue ALICE gear (minus the M1966 suspenders):

Shooting my 870 in the California Desert. The Camelbak Thermobak is great, but the hose always gets too damn long, and becomes encrusted with dirt and sand. Not a problem for us tough guys, ey?!

Picture before letting off an 8-round string of buckshot. You can see the Eagle M16/M9 chest harness, and some USGI pouches on my beltline.

Sorry the photos aren't of such high-quality, but I can take pictures of my MOLLE gear later (I switched back from ALICE again). Those aren't my airsoft guns, BTW, just my toys.

I'll look into that metal body. Was going to make an XM177E2 all-metal, but plans have since crumbled.

    Hey Ice Pick

Nice load. How you likin' that JAC CAR15? I may pick one up instead of a TM CAR15 (M4A1/XM177). I heard they are quite accurate, and have awesome range.

Nice Shemagh! Gotta get one of those too.

Yeah, when you get to be 18 and get yourself a job, you will have money too.

I'm not sure you'll ever get a girlfriend though, so I can't assure you on that one. But you'll have money....

Nice. Spending too much money would be buying a spring XM177 for $250.

About the girl friends...We need to get to know eachother better (Me and her).

Well I dunno about GIRLFRIENDS, but you can definintely find some women for quite cheap in Columbus Georgia (outside Ft Benning, Victory Drive for those who know!).

I don't spend much $$$$. I make alot of my stuff. Some gear is expensive, but the general rule is "you get what you pay for". Although I once got an Arisaka worth $550 for $30....

    Anywho...
