MrSkorotsnoy:
I've got the Hurricane "COLT" Metal Body on my TM M4 RIS and I love it. I have had no issue with it at all. I've played in the mud, rain, sun, and snow and it's been 100% good to go. I got the Hurricane, because one of my plastic body's tabs broke with in a month after getting the M4. I'd say loose the plastic and step up to the Hurricane metal body. Here are the only two negetives I can think to say about it:
1) No directions
2) The front reciever pin hole is really tight. I reamed mine ount just a little bit, but other people have just worked the pin in and out until it loosened up.
The positive far out weigh the negetives:
1) Comes in a variety of color, trademarks, and configurations
2) uniform finish
3) even with out directions, fairly strait forward to assemble
4) Working charging handle / dust cover assembly
5) Locks up the M4 real tight
6) works with a bunch of mags (G&P's, TM, whatever)
If you are looking for a AEG that you can beat around, a M4 with metal body and one piece barrel is pretty tough. I still wouldn't want to use it as a club or drop it a bunch of times, but the barrel and body combo eliminate a lot, if not all of the M4/M16 weaknesses.
As for what I wear in the field, I guess I didn't type that correctly. I don't wear all of that at once. Obviously I either wear the Blackhawk Omega Vest or the G&P AAV with all the MOLLE pouches separately. On top of that, the sustainment pouch and waist pack are just used to hold my knee pads and my sidearm/holster/belt until I get to the field.
My load out really isn't that much. Just 7 mags for the M4, 2 for the SVI, an extra AEG battery, my dead rag, and two cold smokes. In longer / continuous games, I do up my load out quite a bit though.
