Yeah that advisor gear is nice, and not much people have a complete impression like you! And you can almost use it for some late WW2 impression
Yeah...but I still have my tiger stripes hanging in the closet...as well as my early 5th Special Forces Group set up...all else was sold off...I miss it at times...

You are absolutely right. DPM works great in summer I have to admit though. But now, in winter, the MARPAT has it beat hands down
grtz, nilz
It's all up to the operator to use his environment to take advantage of the camo. I saw people in ACU concealing themselves better in wooden area that people wearing Cadpat. Personnaly, Marpat doesn't work that fine here in Canada, but again, we're only airsofters and a Marine might be better in using the features of the camo.
Maybe so, but you can't argue with the fact that someone in ACU will have to work harder to conceal himself in a brownish/greenish environment than the same person in MARPAT. The few people that were wearing ACU in today's and yesterday's games were all sticking out like a sore thumb, simply because none of the colours matched the most apparent tones in the environment...

Of course a light color pattern is harder to conceal, but camo cannot work well everywhere... So that's why I disagree with Starfox that Marpat is better than anything...
My best exemple is from Vietnam, supposedly, tigerstripes was supposed to be the best for shadowy jungle of south east asia, but SOG ended up wearing plain OD sprayed black.
