We did that the other day, out of an RH-53.

Seriously though we've got an event in about a month doing riverine insertion. By riverine I mean a fair-sized stream and by insertion it's probably paddling a john boat, maybe a zodiac.

Actually did some awesome back of a pickup stuff down in NC. Two trucks with probably 15-20 people pull over on the side of the road, you just hop out the back, and run in the woods. Gotta love the country.

Would've been great if they did a fast rope... they just didn't have the gloves for it.

some of them did. but they werent really tough and durable like leather
