My take : about damn time. I despise parents who do that, projecting their frustrated ambitions on their kids who don't seem to realize the implications. I once saw "Tiara and Toddlers". It was the saddest thing ever...

Huh what ? What the hell is "Miel Bou Bou" ? Even Google failed.
My cousin was a little Miss...she has a ridiculous amount of trophies and even a key to our city.
France - A country with a government who isn't frightened to ban things. Well done
Ah, didn't notice the *****

good move by france, beauty pageants for children are pretty sick, just look at honey boo boo and toddlers and tiaras kids, it's disgusting!
Heard an interview with a psychologist, who worked a few years at a state hospital for involuntarily admitted sex offenders, mind you they weren't defined as inmates or patients, but as "individuals" and he said, they'd fill up the tv room, whenever toddlers in tiaras was about to air.
Good move by France!
Luckily we don't have stuff like that. At least not that I know of.
We value discipline more than beauty in kids. My son is in Kindergarten since last week. Yesterday he raised his finger at the dinner table because he wanted to say something. No joke! I was astonished and delighted at the same time, it works! We often have total chaos at home as he has the terrible twos at the moment.
What good for is a child beauty contest anyway except for producing mentally disordered adults?
