Default Tom Cruise: Job harder than fighting in A-stan

    Stumbled across this.
I never had any real negative thoughts about this guy before, due to not giving a ****, about his personal life, etc.

This though takes the cake for stupid comments.

He's an egotisticle idiot, just like all celebrities of his kind. Everyone can see this, no one cares.

Context, gentlemen, context. Turns out he said no such thing. When he was deposed in his current lawsuit in which he is suing for the allegation that he has abandoned his daughter because of all the time he spends away from home working, he is asked about a comment his lawyer is supposed to have made, which likened the job of a film star working away on location to a soldier being deployed abroad in that it seperated him from his family, because he was being heavily criticised for working away from home. Cruise states that he was unaware of the comparison but that being seperated from his daughter on his most recent film work was "brutal". Cruise may be an asshat, and given his weirdo religion most votes are in on that, but the article linked in the OP is yet more conniving crap by lying journos desperate to sell their toilet roll papers.

Probably very true. Imagine controlling oneself working with very Hawt Women Or men (depending on preference), abstaining from 5 star meals, go out to work after waking up in a 5 star accommodation with that hawt other next you, having makeup have their way with you, smearing mud and dirt on you, and the list goes on and on compared to simple life of just surviving.

In a way I quite like the guy, he doesn't seem to give a **** about being phenomenally unfashionable

Anyone here read Lee Childs 'Reacher' novels? Cruise in no way did that character justice.
