Hello everyone. I read a post on the Lightfighter Tactical Forums that said my name bothered him because he said he actually knew him.
So I’m now asking if there is anyone here that thinks I should change my name. I am not copying the Hoot character from Black Hawk Down ENTIRELY… here is the story of my name.
I was out with my friends, just hanging out and I was doing and saying funny stuff, when someone said, "Man Jason, you're a hoot!" And since my fave character in BHD was Hoot, I said, "Hey! That'd be a cool nickname!" And that's how I got it.
Please, if anyone wants me to change my name, let me know. Thanks for your time!
its jsut a handle, who cares? But i can see how the fella's at light fighter could get pissed off if you were somehow trying to pretend you were the real deal.
it seems kind of like you made up that story just so it wouldn't look like you totally ripped off the name from BHD. but, i don't really give a s**t what you call yourself, theres a loser on my lacrosse team that thinks he's vin diesel, and do i care? no, i just make fun of him.
Damn! I never had an idea that handle would cause such commotion! I really am truely embarrased! Thanks for pointing me to that thread, it opened my eyes to new things.
