    what is the fps limit in your area?

    cqb = ??? fps
    field = ??? fps

    Up to 328 fps 0m (max in CQB)
    329-380 fps 3m
    381-435 fps 7m
    436-520 fps 20m (only semi-automatic weapons and bolt)
    521-600 fps 30m (only bolt)
    601-700 fps 40m (only bolt)

    Test I - Excel 0,20 (no hop-up)
    weapon: TM SR-16
    owner: AEAN
    spring: Guarder SP110 (ny)
    barrel: Prometius 6,03

    0m = 416.4 fps (419, 410.7, 419.7)
    2m = 388.3 fps (391.2, 385.8, 387.9)
    4m = 354.9 fps (355.1, 352.3, 357.5)
    6m = 330.2 fps (329.4, 333.2, 328 )
    8m = 304.7 fps (300, 306.6, 307.6)
    10m = 280.5 fps (278.9, 280.7, 281.9)
    15m = 234.6 fps (234.6, 234.5, 234.7)
    20m = 195.1 fps (192.1, 195.8, 197.4)

    Test II - Excel 0,25 (no hop-up)
    weapon: TM SR-16
    owner: AEAN
    spring: Guarder SP110 (ny)
    barrel: Prometius 6,03

    0m = 369 fps (371, 369, 367)
    2m = 353.6 fps (354.9, 353.2, 352.8 )

    No limits in Poland so far. There have been some discussions regarding these limitations, but they were fruitless. So if you have an M240 with 10000 fps - visit Poland and have fun ;o)

    Most of the time here in Florida its 400 fps outside, and 350 fps for CQB [although at Operation Irene II, the outside AND CQB limit (semi auto only) was 400---Yippee!!]. The "normal" fps limit for bolt action sniper rifles is 550.

    SoCal is typical 400 FPS with .20s both outside, and CQB.

    There have been various ops that have gone + or - about 25 FPS depending on the organizer.

    150 m/s (457 fps) - for AEGs
    200 m/s (610 fps) - sniper rifles
    90m/s(275) - pistols

    Arizona:

    Field - 400 FPS AEG's w/ .20's
    CQB - 300-350 w/ .20's
    Sniper Rifles - 500 fps w/ .20's (semi only or bolt action)

    Minnesota Airsoft Association Standard FPS:

    Outdoor games-

    400fps with .20g OR 350 with .25g

    Indoor Games:

    300fps, regardless of BB weight

    Full Face Masks are also required for indoor games.

    Snipers:

    450fps, regardless of BB weight. Snipers must be over 18, MAA members in good standing, and have taken & passed the MAA Safety Certification Course.
