Yes, italian footwear is the best... but we talk about "rich" footwear, not "military standard" footwear...
When I was in service I use those boots http://www.softair.it/images/prove/a.../anf_para1.jpg... well, after 6 month of basic training i have to repair it because the sole gone away (Pirelli)... a lot of comrade suffer of foot disease thanks to those medieval trap that someone with sense of humor calls "boot"...
trust me, buy a pair of Belleville, altama, bates, corcoran... whatever U want but do not spend 1 dollar on this sh*t...

Looki goodi... Now I wanna see it dirty...
its winter and -10'c out. so nowhere to get it dirty yet
Or atleast wash it a few times to fade it.
Well thats one step closer to *ahem* worn combats..
Now just 347 more steps to go!
If you're really into wearing things down without really wearing things down (not you in particular, just getting a sense on the forum), then you could tie this stuff to the back of your vehicle and drive around for a bit... it would definitely work.
i am not so extreme as you guys. i bought bdu, ecwcs and chestrig for 250$ used and i am NOT gonna wreck it so soon
it looks better when its worn. I took a bat covered in rough cloth to my RAV replica, looks better. Way Ferros Eagle kit looks awesome cause it looks like its been used.
