Calling yourself whatever like SEAL team X, and having patches or whatnot is a no go as that pertains to posing as something you are not. Majority of the military personnel on this board do not like it. Even if you say "we're doing it to respect and honor you guys" - you're really not respecting or honoring the people who have actually done it. Plain and simple.
Hope the thread helps you, and you thrive into a more understanding member of this board, even if you only post in the AS section.

There are no SEAL Tridents or Ranks or Insignias or US Flags on the posted Pics! I know what I have to post.
We are NO SEAL Reenactors, we try to put the "Esprit de Corps" in a Airsoft Team - and so we call us SEALTEAM VI AUSTRIA AIRSOFTSPORTVEREIN". And we use the Name Sealteam VI because there is no exist Sealteam 6.
And i post ART Pics (better I hope its ART).
