Hey guys I got one of these on order right now from www.wgcshop.com. Does anyone here have one? Tell me about it if you do. One guy online was telling me he gets accuracy up to about 85 yds.. What are your guys' ideas on covering this m40? As far as maybe painting...but more like wrapping it?

Absolutely awsome gun, but I like to keep the old fashion look of wood instead of painting it or wrapping it. Wood is an awsome natural camo. and it works supurbly.
As for my specs:
-Sun Project M40A1 Standard Version
-OK 6.03 Inner Barrel with adjustable hopup
-K2 Gas Cylinder (500fps+)
-Den M40A1 Steel Cocking Handle
-Sunproject Trigger with bearing
-Harris Bipod (not the crappy replicas, the real deal)
-BSA 3-12x40 Rifle Scope (with covers)
-Hakko Rockey High rings
-Guarder Scope Mount Base for M40A1 ( 1-Piece Type )
All the parts in mine work awsome, really nice. EXTREMELY accurate, this is because of the high powered K2 cylinder, heavy weight BB's (.36) and the 6.03 barrel, all this combined makes it an awsome sniper rifle, powerful and accurate.
Theyre kinda heavy, if you are going to be serious about it, invest in a quality bipod like a Harris. If you don't have a bipod or a sling for it, you're arms are going to be hurting by the end of the day
But all in all its an awsome gun, looks extremely real, beautiful wood and metal parts, extremely easy to fix and upgrade yourself, you can take the whole gun apart with about 5 screws so its really quick to do maintanence.
Nice rifle, but man, if your arms hurt carrying and shooting a boltgun after one day, whoow, maybe you should hit the gym or get a new hobby!!! :P
There are heavier things to carry. I tried my friends M249, which he said was "heavy as fu*k", but it's a bit lighter than an actual, unloaded M249. My "philosophy" on it is that it doesn't matter if it is heavy, so long as it makes itself worthy, such as being able to lay down tons of firepower when you need it.
Yea, its pretty heavy. Meaning if you are going to be shooting it without a sling or bipod, your going to be shaking and its going to get tiring...for anyone. Heavier than my all metal M4 with aimpoint and PEQ by FAR.
