I once played a 40 hour game. By the end of it, I felt like I was drunk. I slept only 2 hours and we moved almost all the time. Did a lot of recon that weekend. I used only about 1000 bb's so it depends what kind of game you're playing.

    Default 24 hour games

From what i heard the games are usually quite lengthy..its not a scrimage game that lasts about 15-20 minutes. its slow and methodical. Definately something I want to try in the future

really the ammo thing only depends on your play style. I played like a 28 hour game and well I passed out during it cause I didn't drink enough water. The game was hella fun for what I played, I remember being dead and walking back to my camp to respawn and I walked RIGHT by someone on the opposite team, the guy just had the most disapointed look on his face cause there was nothing he could do about me seeing him cause once I respawned I alerted my team and we soon found out there was about 3 other people around us. Hella fun.. I cant wait till the next one

I played in a really well run 24 hour game in June or July, and only went through something like 1000 rounds, probably less. Some of the support chaps went through a bag or more (3700+) rounds and multiple batteries, but I was part of a six man squad out on patrol, and most of our big engagements involved 2 or three of our patrols going up against the enemy. The game was a ridiculous amount of fun, and I will DEFINITELY be doing it again.

One of the best games that I have heard about is by http://www.combatenterprises.com and http://www.cimmerians.com its a 3 day(fri-sun) weekend thing; They don't necessarily play non-stop but they play 3 hours games a few times a day and sleep at night i.e. every arives friday evening play 3 hours - sleep - wake up/breakfast - play 3 hours - lunch - play 3 hours - break - play 3 hours - dinner - play 3 hours - rest/party/movies/sleep/ - sunday morning/breakfast - play 3 hours - lunch - go home

something like that---- its pretty cool-- everyone plays and sleeps at a remote field/camping site

Geez. I can't think of anything I would want to do for 24 hours straight.

If there were 24 hours games it should consist of long patrols, taking turns sleeping, and playing in a large area-- So you're not necessarily in a firefight for 24 hours

if you guys are going to do that sort of stuff for that time frame, you might want to check out some army sites, and see what kind of info you can dig up from the FM's(field manuals) on what we call Patrol Base Operations. explains a lot about rest plans, how much water you need, how to set up decent positions, picking out a PB...it's all in FM7-8: infantry squad/platoon tactics. if you cant find it and youre planning on doing a 24 hour game or mission or whatever you call it, i'd advise you to get in touch with someone from the army, marines, etc and ask some questions. hell im sure you could contact a lot of the ppl on here and find out some stuff to keep you from passing out like some of you mentioned

    drive on
