    Look - this tank was hit but good german steel was strong enought to protect the tank.

    The german tanks (the heavier ones) were notorious for that. The allied tanks fired, but the rounds just bounced off.

    Great pictures.
    Great tank. Too bad it was made by the evil guys.


    Evil as in the nazis were evil, I'm not calling every german evil.
    Just a FYI for you PC hunters.

    Top 11 pics of the same unit?
    Don't remember the unit designation at the moment, but it's an army Schwerere Pz.Abteilung and one of the guys in the pic is a certain Hauptmann Burmester (the tall skinny guy in the middle of the o-group).

    Supposedly from s.Pz.abt 503. The first gang of pics are from the same photo-shoot. Under that is the same tank but in a winter setting...

    Any info on the next generation of German armor? What will come after the Leopard series is obsolete?
