No its not allowed.
HI everybody,
just got a little question about german gun laws. Perhaps someone can help me.
Ok: I wanna buy a airsoft M4 , 6mm with energy less than 0.5 joule(allowed to buy when you're 14). In the catalouge they say that you're allowed to carry (in German there's written "führen") the weapon in public. They also write it's better to only carry and shoot on your own property. I'm now wondering if it's allowed when I buy one (I'm 16) and we (me and my friends) carry it through woods where almost nobody is around. I know that I'm gonna have trouble if someone feels threatened by me, but we want to hide ourselves and we're not gonna to raid grandfathers that are going for a walk with their dogs.
Thanks for answering and MERRY X-MAS
No its not allowed.
Sorry for asking again but aren't there new gun laws? They sell these weapons to 14 year olds and even write in catlouges that you're allowed to carry them. (Weapons have engery<0.5 joule)
Can you please give reasons for your answer:
THX
It's allowed to carry these <0,5 Joule weapons in public, but it's not a good idea. You could get serious trouble, or even been shot by the police in worst case.
If you want to skirmish with this toys it's no problem from the view of the gun law. But if the area you play on is not your private property or you're allowed by the owner to play there, it's unlawful! German law call this "Landfriedensbruch".
In short: Don't do it.
I am so f*cking glad I'm not European!
I am so fvcking glad that not every 16 year old boy is allowed to walk around with firearms and "drives" a car.Originally Posted by MrSkorotsnoy

You just forgot to put stupid in front of 16. I guess I'm able to think rational and that's why I asked before buying a weapon.
And 16 year olds will be allowed to drive a little car with 45 km/h maximum speed after Feb 2005!!! Watch out for crazy 16 year olds!!!
Finally, after reading everyones post, I decided not to do so and rather spend my money on a thing that doesn't cause so much trouble.
Anyway,
Thx again and merry x-mas

I could put a joke here (France) and you guys would probably never even catch it!![]()
I totally agree with MrSkorotsnoy.
Calm down boys!!!
I just got a question and didn't want to start a fight between Europeans and Not-Europeans.
So STOP IT!!!!!
16 year olds can't purchase firearms nor can they walk around with them. I'm 21 and I can't walk around with my CETME.Originally Posted by Shadow
German gun laws suck balls as long as you're no hunter or sports shooter and over 18 of course.
Once you're in a shooting club, things get rather good though![]()
Isn't the laws of hunting rights in most european countries pretty ****ty.Originally Posted by Freibier

While on this subject, is it even possible to hunt in Britain now, with those crap gun laws they've passed?
Well I imagine you could always hunt ONCE, then you go to jail. Better bag a REAL trophy! Like an alien or some ****.
