Hence to the way that the "What if we just ignore them?"-topic has been turned i to the most disgusting topic ever in this forums history I myself just feel like throwing in the towel and call it the day.
It seems like many in here as the "My way or the highway!" as a holy mantra.
Up until 10 minutes ago, I had seen seoulstriker as a quite intelligente guy, even though I didn't like all of his opinions. Now I'm just disgusted over him.
Whatever the opinions of the Israelis and some of the Arabs in here have shown,(also the reoson for the "why do we just...) this has to be...

Sadly, i must agree with ichhabe - some of us just don't know when to "give it a rest". i prefer not to take part in such discussions, although some of them manage to serously piss me off (including some of the pro-israeli opinions).

I've been sitting on the bench and not participating in any of the threads because they've been, for the most part, rather insipid and inane arguments that quickly turn into flame wars. If that's what people want to post fine, but any intelligent person is more than aware of the differences between pro-Arab and pro-Israeli factions and pro-abortion and anti-abortion groups without having to hear the same old arguments rehashed by immature or intolerant posters. Frankly, it's been rather boring.
Until recently, Militaryphotos.net was a great site to discuss military issues, equipment, tactics and history. But the graphic content of late has turned a great forum into a cesspool of extremist political views. I'll continue to check it out periodically because there are still a few good threads and outstanding pictures. If I may make a suggestion, if you are so adamant and unyielding in your extremist views, aren't there other sites dedicated to your position where you can post your disgusting photos.

yeah, I clicked on the "why dont we just ignore them post" because it sparked my interest. I immediately clicked on the latest page and by page 5 or 6 it had become a childish debate about abortion. Now I know that as "obdr" in the gallery section, I have said some lame and random things, but this is too far in my opinion. If people want to argue abortion call the damn 700 Club or something. This is "militaryphotos.net" not "savetheChildren.org" right?
Yes it's became ugly. And we should avoid direct posting of such photos and make proper disclimer so people not interested in didn't hit it accidentaly.
If you are not intersted in topic don't browse it.
This is forum where you can meet people and hear their opinins from all the world so unavoidable are off-topics and from topics deviations.
You learn how to act being with people not by separating from them. Guys more patience and persuasion
I would like to say something. This post is not directed to anyone in specific or even to sirpad (so nu every one has an opinion so..great).
I too came in here as an ex military(paratrooper) and military enthusiast to hopefully discuss and learn other things abut other militaries in the world. I love looking at pictures of Israeli soldiers as well as from solders from around the world. I also love talking military hardwhere and tactics
(at least what we can say online) and comparing or contrasting different militaries to each other and things of that nature.
I unfortunately realise that every topic that is about Israel is usually started by some other member that through his negative insinuations and connotations will inevitably spill into a huge flame war, and even when it is not an Israeli related topic, if an Israeli posts something innocent there, it inevitably is followed by some negative posts or insiutaions that are targeted at the Israeli, that leads the discussion into the usual Israeli/ Palestinian conflict
I cant speak for all Israeli’s or all pro Israeli's here, but I for the most part or even they have only been responding to the negative topics and posts that I have seen crop up pretty frequently by other members especially by some who complain that they are sick of this debate but yet continue to start or post on these threads or posts.
I have also never labelled anyone anything. I have except for one instance, inferred that some one was an anti semtie and that was only after that one member endorsed Hitler or something to that effect.
I think there is a lot of people that perpetrate these negative discussions and then chide us for responding.
I mean I can’t even have any military discussion without some negative post. Heck even my watch cover thread or the idf light infantry thread was hijacked by members that went off topic and made it negative.
If we can get off this train wreck where I or an Israeli can post some Israeli military weapon or something like that and someone isn’t immediately going to say we use that to indiscriminately kill all Palestinians and take it off topic, then this site can really achieve great things.
Just some thought…..

I should have never started that post. It was mainly aimed at the people who freak out at the israelis all the time, because it was just turning every conversation into an arguement. Lets all put this behind us and we can hopefully continue with the normal militaria posts etc.

I hav nothing against Israeis. But some people here just piss me off, by posting a link about say some palestinian bombing. Then writing something like "see what the evil ragheads do we have to defend ourselves!"
Those are inconstrucive and rather sad in large enough numbers...

perhaps, though that is not for me to say nor have I ever accused you of having things against Israeli's (I will leave that for other to base their own conclusions) though I would say defending homicide attacks that target innocent Israeli man women and children do in fact come off a bit hostile.I hav nothing against Israeis.
I mean even if you think Israel is the root cause and they are mostly to balme (which I disagree with, but that for another topic or post) it still doesn’t justify targeting innocent man women and children. Period!
