    Default What do you do for a living?

    I work as a "computer guy" for a US government agency that I rather not reveal. I also work part time for the NG.

    I just started today working for Danish Armed Forces Television as camera-guy/editing-guy.

    professional student.

    Pre-med education for 4 years. Medical school for 4 years. Residency/certification for 4-7 years...

    I will have a 'real' job when I am in my early thirties.

    Then again, I will be pulling in $400,000 per year while helping people. Excellent.

    I'm not independent from parent's fundings so I annoy my paren'ts so they still rember they have son .

    Lately making small database for swiming pool (sql, php, c#, cash registers) for funny small money waiting for continuing full time studies in computer science (small exam difficultiess ), listening to parents accusing me lazy ass.
    Real work after studies

    Yeah, I know a couple of excellent doctors, and they definitely don't make that much.

    Post-high school graduate bum at home with parents may get a non-college graduate job sooner or later or join the UNITED STATES ARMY INFANTRY! Hooah!

    My brother who goes to Stanford is doing Math and CS, almost all of my Polish friends want to study CS (7-10), all of the IT people at my high school were Polish, and when you look at most credits in video games right now, many of them have lots of Polish guys...

    yeah, I'm 100% polish. My mother left Poland when she was ~30 years old, and my grandparents on my father's side are from Poland.

    Hey, when you live in Chicago, with a relatively high number of Polish immigrants, you tend to meet lots of Polish people.
