Yea ammo is kinda expensive but the gun is just too cool not to have. I just sold some old stuff that was collecting dust and one of my friends traded me a couple thousand rounds of 5.7 ammo because he sold his 5.7 pistol not long ago so i got the ammo pretty cheap
but if it wasn't for the cheap ammo deal he gave me i probably never would have got one.

Getting a title II item as a private citizen is totally different. Your simply passing a background check, and having a serial numbered weapon assigned to you in a database. And you pay a 200$ tax for the privilage. BS laws IMHO but the toys are fun.

You give up no constitutional rights when you pay the NFA tax, other then the fact that your being illegally taxed to begin with.

I got to shoot the PS-90 the other day, fantastic and lots of fun. The charging handle (well, the charging nubs on each side) were bloody hard to pull back though. The sights had been replaced with a rail, but the rails are higher than a traditional tri-rail, so it left the Eotech a bit high, fine for my taste, but high for the owners.

Ammo seems to be hard to get currently, definatly a draw back, however it sure seems a better deal than a knock off MP5 with a gigantic barrel.

Definitely lots of fun to shoot but i think for the money FN could have done better on the sight.I think the problem with the tri-rail and Eotech is that it is to high above the bore, but I have never shot one with a tri-rail and Eotech so I'm not speaking from experience, love the gun though I'd take it over a MP5 any day!!

That's an Encore. Truly massive gun, there are Carbon 15 rifles that weigh less than it. My only regret so far (and without having fired a single shot with it yet), is that I bought it in .223 Remington. Should probably have gone for something in 7mm.

Yep, I knew it was a encore.. basically the newer improved contender. They have improved the contender too. same barrels but... can not use stock or grips. of the old one on the new.

I think for a short barrel a pistol caliber might have been better. I had some barrels in rifle calibers, but did not like them that much.
