Just finished cleaning the guns after a day at the range. Here is a pic of a few guns that were shot. The club members drag out their old stuff once a month.

Nice set of 'old timers' there

I see the closest No1 Mk4 has a range sight on it, can't say I've seen the modified sight on the business end though, or is it a laser pointer?

What are the 4th and 7th rifles from the end? INSAS or modified SKS type rifle?

But yeah looks like the making of a fun day

Second from the rear is a german FAL with bipod.I can'tthink of the proper designation. The 303's are range rifles with Parker Hale target sights. There is also a 6.5mm swede, 2 model 49 FNs and a VZ33. The 2 front rifles are 22s. One is an antique Marlin pump action. The guns i shot today were Model 1912 winchester 12ga, Harrington & Richardson single barrel 12ga, No4 303, 7x57 Model49 FN, 12mm swedish rolling block, and a BSA Martini 22 target rifle.

I will answer my own question, Yes the Germans had FAL,s the G1 made in Belgium for Germany, since they would not make it Germany, Germany introduced the G3 to replace, it. Sorry for my confusion, I guess most people did not know a version was with the German Army.

You are right Wildcat12 it is a G1, and rare in this country. Here is a tricky one. One of our club members has an original 7.62x51 AR10, painted black with built in bipod suposidly used by the germans. Did the germans have their own designation for it?

Very nice collection, so you are NZ? My younger brother moved there 4 years ago, he wants to get a firearm.

My FAL is an Imbel Receiver, but was imported buy DSarms (they make FAL's) before they made there own receivers. it was fitted with an STG58 Austrian parts kit. I replaced the Steel handguards removed the bipod, and painted it.
