I apologize for this picture. I was able to take only one picture before my camera pooped out on me. I need to get another camera now. But, alas, here is my very, absolutely first AR. I ordered the thing in March, and it finally made it to the dealer this morning. It's a Rock River Elite Comp. I'm hoping to get it to the range this weekend if Ike doesn't make a showing like Gustav did.

Again, sorry for the crappy pic. The thing really is more beautiful than this picture does it justice.

I got it through a local dealer, Red River Rarities. They're the same dealer whom I had order my Sig P229. Very, very good people.

Rock River has been having an issue with the engineering of the PADS sight for this gun. They called the dealer and asked if I would prefer just going with the A.R.M.S. #40 Flip Up rear sight; which I did. Perhaps I will get a Troy BUIS at some point in the future.
