What's the point of having so many of the same gun? :\

Variety is the spice of life.

When one appreciates a certain type of rifle, a lot can be said for collecting different variations.
I have three AKs, and each is a bit different, with strengths and weaknesses of the designs. I'm on my second AR build right now, because it's fun to build something unique with exactly the parts and accessories the shooter prefers.

What's all this talk about not being able to shoot an HK416?

Fully auto available for rental, Blue Ridge Arsenal in northern VA! I went out there and shot a couple MP5's as well....extremely expensive though.

Optics are not cheap anyway, they cost as much as rifles (the good stuff anyway).

What are you plans for them, Wildcat? I've been working on mine for about three or four weeks now. Each payday, I add another component or two. I've got some lower receiver internal parts on the way, and next payday, I'll add a 2-stage match trigger group and perhaps something else, budget permitting. I'm resisting the urge to rush this and compromise with cheap components/accessories, and instead am trying to be patient and build myself something of quality.

^ Sounds nice. My upper/lower receivers are Rock River. In hindsight, a Noveske would have been a great choice, but I figured when it comes to a stripped lower, it may not be a priority for me, vs. other parts.
