Yea, but the Ultimak gas tube rails allow cowitness with APs, and those run around $100. Problem is, their bottom rail kit's like $200...so we're looking at $300+. Problem with the ultimak gas tube replacement is that it gets really hot. Eotechs tend to shut off with the high heat, but I think the APs should hold fine.

I am going to put Gaijin's AR on a Chen Lee modification path... we will start with a nice American Defense SPR throw lever mount for his Leupold, maybe if i can find that GG&G MAD BUIS...then we go to work on his carbine....!!

Here's a decent link to make you think. I bought my AR15A1 back in 1985 and it's on it's third barrel ( I did at one time shoot the snot out of it alot ). I prefer the M193 bullet over the M855 bullet, but that's just my opinion.
