X2, i was wondering that as well, looks like a PSU scope, but that is a funky muzzle break, kinda sexy.

Nothing fancy, but treated myself to a belgian FN Hi-Power with WaA103 markings (made in '41) and tangent sight.

I'm still looking for an original Inglis Hi-Power with detachable shoulder stock, but can't for the life of me seem to find one in good shape and reasonably priced.

Sayeret, I could have sworn they kicked out some sort of order banning the use of tape on grenades, due to safety concerns. If nothing else I do remember a a sh*t load of commercials running on AFN, telling people not to do it.

I sort of remember hearing about that although the grenades I was given came with tape on them. I believe it's more of an issue with grenade turn in. I guess some people have grenades that are just wrapped in so much tape it's hard to tell where the pin is.

Here's actually an article about it:

    http://www.army.mil/-news/2008/06/25...-taping-about/

I'll look into the issue, though and let you know.

Thanks, It's M44 with heavy side rail scope mount, turned bolt, POSP 8 scope. I did not make these modification. Intra-Ordnance company did, I bought this rifle like that in 2003 or 04.
The only thing I added was removable muzzle break.

It's a very accurate rifle. a little on a heavy side. I'll post a better pic of it one of these days.

The grenade was taped down as an extra safety precaution, I personally did not tape it. When I received the grenade, it was already taped. It has a folded over tab so it can be pulled off quickly.

ohhh now i see it....still....if you need to pop that thing in a room quickly...that tape will take 1 second longer.

grenades are safe enough....the pin is locked up, and even if it gets unlocked it's hard to pull out. In the IDF we get yelled at if we tape our rimonim.

oh and sorry, i didn't see someone already asked you about the pin.

Is the Adams Arms gas piston kit really worth the $500?

Nice Hi-Power, Loke. I LOVE the classics!

Good luck finding as Inglis shoulder stock. It will be a challenge to find one. Especially one that's affordable.
