I use it at work, if its for personall use I would go with 9mm, fairly simple, waight wise feels bit heavier then BHP but is bigger in dimentions, I belive, easy to clean, I like the triger reset thingy, makes fast shooting fast and fallow up shots easier, safety is a got to watch it once you pull it out (since its your triger finger), wights are standard, seen guns go through 6~800 rds with no problems or need to clean, the lower receiver, which is plastic seems to be easy to scratch (I seen some wonder scratches on the inside, under the slide)

.40 makes a big bang (noise) and recoil is quite noticable

Thanks Hollis. I would likely go with 9mm. It's not like I need the stopping power of .40 (for target shooting only), and 9mm will be easier on the wallet.

I have a video of my friend shooting the sibling of this gun. I will have to dig it out....I know I have video of an event where this was consuming ammo...with an unending appetite. It cycles at around 1,100 rpm, but pretty smooth shooting - thanks to the heavy buffer and recoil rod.

It's almost as fast as the MG42, that is insane and sweet all at the same time......

I was thinking about that the other day when I read this, actually.

Vancouver police officer cleared in shooting death

'Kept getting up after being shot'

The Crown said Boyd tried to run away and the officers gave chase. One drew his pistol and pointed it at Boyd, who then moved toward the officer holding the gun.

"As Mr. Boyd approached, the officer fired a single shot at him. Mr. Boyd stepped back, fell down onto the road and immediately got back to his feet," the report said.
The intersection of Granville Street and 16th Avenue was cordoned off for nearly 12 hours after the police shooting in August 2007. (CBC)

The officer fired eight more shots, believing Boyd must be wearing body armour. He was not and was struck seven more times.

"While Mr. Boyd was struck and knocked down or partly knocked down by seven shots, he continued to get up and advance or attempt to get up and advance on the officer after each shot," the report said.

Boyd was on his hands and knees when the final gunshot was fired.

"He appeared to be attempting to get to his feet again and the officer fired a shot at his head which caused him to fall to the ground and he did not get up again," the report said.
