A Dissipator w/ ACOG glass seems like it might be a good combo.

What type of scope is one yours?
It's the IOR 1.1-4X26, but next week I will be moving up to a 2-10X42 IOR which I am trading mine for through SWFA.

I love the IOR glass, but mybuddy hates them, he's all about Nightforce.

    Thanks, Geeze!
Just after I posted that question, I saw that you had mentioned it was an IOR in a previous post. Sorry!

I like the Midwest Industries FF tubes. Mine's a Yankee Hill, but I've kicked around the idea of possibly getting a tube w/ rails to replace the one on my carbine, and the Midwest Industries FF tube is reasonably priced. A lot less than Daniel Defense or LaRue.

I but a Yankee Hill on one of my ARs with a HB. Making a varminter out of it. Removed the sight/gas block and put on a low profile gas block. The YH is a nice free floating tube.

Unfortunately my pics don't have the artistic composition of Virus' shot. After shunning .22lr as "that puny sounding thing coming from 2 stalls down" for quite a while, I snatched up a .22lr GSG-5 (mp5 clone) since they're not making them anymore due to the H&K settlement. I grabbed a bunch of magazines (dear Lord who came up with this 10 round limit?!) and a box of 525 rounds for $17 and headed to the range. After firing more rounds in one sitting than I have in the last 5 sessions with the M4 and M1A combined, I can truly say that I'm sold. This thing is pretty accurate at 15 yards to boot.

    Cool, Hood.
I shot my friend's GSG-5 a few months ago, and it was a lot of fun. probably the closest thing to an MP-5 I'll ever be able to afford-but perhaps not now if they're not going to make them anymore.

Hood, welcome to the world of GSG.

The guys I shoot with started buying them up when they heard come Jan they would no longer be sold.
I did hear down the grape vine that there is the possibility that GSG will continue to produce the .22s but without the signature H&K sights, more a flat-top as this is the part that H&K have a beef with. The sights being something that everyone in the World can identify as being H&K.

Anywho, make sure and do the mods, change out the scews and change out the crap star washer to the screw that holds the bolt plate in place. Go with a spring/split washer or a rubber grommet, also locktite.

    Group picture.....

F'ing HK. I kinda wished I picked one up earlier, but I need the money for ammo.
    I love that SBR'd MP5K/PDW setup Geezah.

Yeah Geezah, I wish I could have an mp5k type model like you have. The 16" minimum barrel length requirement kills that though. That short 10 rounder that you have is sexy though. Care to share where you got it? The only ones my local store have are the 22 round ones that are plastic blocked to 10.

Just make sure you dont take that larue mount off & on alot. It will hurt the rail after a while. You can adjust the locking levers but still it will hurt the underside of the rail on the locking side. Also make sure your scope has enough elevation adjustment as with the 20moa height you might have issues at 100yds if you have a small scope.
