That M320 does look bulky as hell. How's the weight compared to the ol' 203?

I have seen plenty of Izmash guns straight out of factory. Whilst some of them are actually quite good, most of them aren't. And none of them are what you would call good quality in Western European terms. Functional very much, but crude.
Lets compare apples to apples, for a stamped receiver rifle I don't know of any other rifle that is of better quality then Saiga. All the ones I've seen are pretty much identical and look and feel better then any other AK copy or company build. All of their rifles are test fired at 100 meters and shipped with document with recorder grouping at that distance. If the sight is canted then the rifle would not pass that one process.

So if an US company starts making cheap chinese stuff in stateside, the chinese stuff is always of better quality? Your logic is faulty.
Not really, he has a good point. Izmash make their receivers to the same specifications as their military rifles and since when Century or Lancaster made military quality product? They are companies trying to make the quickest possible buck......Quantity over quality...Hmm that sounds familiar but yet world apart in difference.
And yes U.S made TAPCO is not always better then Chinese NcStar, some of it is O.K and some is..... Sometimes it seems Tapco is copying Chinese NcStar, it makes me think they might be the same company behind the scenes.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the optics in the pictures JV? Some sort of night vision optics?

    Also, stay safe man.

That looks stupidly large and cumbersome. How's the weight with all of that?

It should not pass QC, but apparently it did. My point exactly about QC being patchy.

I would rather buy Russian, that is true. But still, Izhmash AK is not still a high quality weapon. Functioning is near perfect, accuracy can be quite good, but there is variation between rifles, parts are roughly finished etc. But I give that much, that none of the current AK manufacturers are better. Arsenal is better finished, but seem to have quite a lot bad quality pieces coming out too.

CJ, you never gonna let that one go...aren't you ?!? LOL as a matter of fact, I do miss my bathroom, actually ANY bathroom would be nice now in days LOL

Kilo,D3ath....The 320 is pretty bulky and heavier than the M203, the only good thing is that.....you can use it as a stand alone weapon, it has a retractable stock thats how I usually use it, slung on my back.

Wilcat, The acog still has the bible quotes, is not a newer model......just a new one, my old one was messed up beyond repair,

BravoJuliet, Thanks brother.....hopefully I'll be back before long !

MN_Air, The big optic is a Thermo sight, is not that heavy....is really cool though, the things that you can see with that thing lol, the other small one is an Acog and the other one is my
    PVS-14 night sight.

I changed my AR from this...

    to this...

I'm not sure which one I'm going to like better. The EOTech controls are now harder to use because I had to move it back right up against the MBUS, but it's not too bad. Also, using the light is different but I could get used to it. Hopefully I'll actually get to shoot it again sometime soon so I can try this new config out.

Have you considered trying out the MOE handguard with rail segments attached? It might work better for your light setup and help with ergonomics.
