The pistol and shotgun are both listed on IMFDB as already advised. The shotgun isn't identified by episode, but it's the Mossberg 590 Cruiser with cartridge holder.

I can see why the OP didn't recognise the pistol - it was new to me too and a real hybrid-looking thing - http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/TiSAS_Zigana
Oh **** by bad. Meant .44. But you seen right about that hybrid thing.

Went shooting on some land, put a few hundred rounds through my new Noveske. Its a very smooth beast. Zeroed the EOTech I have, but I really want a 553 and the magnifier to put on this...

It's a good show. Sometimes a little corny but good.

Weight reduction and cooling. (Increased surface area helps it cool faster.)

so improve cooling, decrease weight but also lose of stiffness
I wonder what you guys think about the semi triangular barrel Remington introduced couple of years back?

Probably negligible stiffness. The benefits of cooling/weight saving probably out weights any loss of stiffness but quite a bit.

Buddy got a Saiga in x39 and i have to say that it is a very good shooting gun. made my WASR feel like a cheap toy. and i actually liked the feel of the sporting stock while shooting.

Nope, got another invite though. Too much beer to be drank, so out of the entire day, range time was just 1 hour.

I dont know, they seem to know what the hell they were doing and nobody wanted to walk all the way back for a spotter scope. When I did raise it up, they all kinda looked at me funnt and said "huh? you do know we do the balloon thing right?"

*Balloon thing is the confidence firing for the Scout Rangers, where in you hold water balloons and your buddy shoots it with an M14. First is with your arm stretched out and ends with you standing at attention and the balloons are by your legs.
