^hard to follow all that,
but took her out,
First 4 shots, 75 meters Offhand,
LD, Are these the extractor issues you had?
Hard to wrap my head around the fact she is 96 years old.

Bro, not to be knit picky, your M1917, extracted fine (removing case from cylinder), it failed to eject. That could be a simple thing, you did not pull the bolt back fast enough. You have a manual ejection, compared to a AR.
I have a Winchester too, but I have not had problems with it.
Ok good to know. out of 20 shots it only got Hung up 3 times. i was working the bolt slow to keep my brass together.
I have a separate insurance policy that covers each firearm because the basic insurance coverage wasn't enough. It is best that you check with your insurance carrier. Depending on the value of the firearms, some can add a rider to your base homeowner's policy. My policy is through State Farm.
I'll be getting a .22LR soon, but am hung up on which one. I've narrowed it down to either a Browning T-bolt, or a CZ-452/455. Anyone with experience with either? I am leaning towards the CZ, but they are not common in my neck of the woods, and rarer still in .22
Just get an AR-15 with a .22LR upper....
That's a lot more paperwork here in Canada.
I would also like a rifle that can hit the broad side of a barn at 5 meters too.
I found a CZ-452 available, hope its still there at the end of the week. Synthetic stock, but it will do.
