I am mailing in my firearms license application today, probably will get my license in 1.5 -5 months. After that I am getting that exact rifle as you Frens, and a Armalite Le M15A4 w/ 14.5" barrel. I will post pics when I get them

I don’t normally like to post photos of my firearms on an open forum, but I do have these two on the hard drive, so I will post it. Sorry Geezah still no photos yet of my new blaster, but they will be here soon, sorry. BTW, a lot of nice weaponry in here guys!! Geezah do you go by the same name at ar15.com?

    Geezah:

That 1911 in the picture is a Sprinfield Armory 1911 Mil Spec. All the work on it is done by me. Because this thing was neither reliable or durable as is from SA. (these are the grips I currently use for CHL)

the 6.8 isnt posted because I am stuck on the project(Dont know where to go with it to finish it up) plus I am having problems with that Larue forarms fitting correctly.

    Initiative:

I drilled out the front stud on the Bipod mount(Forward of the 2) and installed the Harris Bipod adaptor #2. I ground the rectangle piece down to a circle to fit in the offset cut into the wood on the stock for the rivet.

    hey Ramy

That rifle is a Polytech M14S.

After my last 2 SA guns I will not buy anymore products from them. They do have good duspport, but I dont undestand why they cant make the weapons run to start with.

Pictures removed as Dennis G removed his.
I understand about feeling leary on posting your firearms on an open forum, notice your unable to see any of the serial numbers on mine.

And yes I go by the same name over on AR15.Com but have no where near as many posts, I go by Geezer on the Sig forum.

    Nice M1

That sucks about SA, I always imagined they would have a great product, but it's good to know they're not up to scratch. Did you refinish the 1911 in OD Green?

I did it in a 2 tone. Top slide in black, and the frame in OD. All with Gun Kote.

It looks real good, was this your first and did you find any areas that didn't turn out as well as you would have liked.
I know on my 12ga, I have a couple of spots that could have turned out better, but for my first I think it looks ok.
