I have a M77 Mk2 in 223, great gun.
I used to shoot mine a bit at our farm, but now it goes out once a year. I bought it second hand over 10 years ago. The only thing I don't like is my scope died. But meh, can still shoot with it.
I just bought 1000 55gr PSP pills, i can reload for less than 30c a round.

Whats the finish and cost like on the Norc AR's up there? The ones we get in NZ are pretty hit and miss. We're starting to get alot of North Eastern Arms(NEA) AR's down here as well as a few locally produced on top of the regular US fare. Had a very good effect on pricing, AR's averaged NZ$3500-6000, now $2000-4000. Have to put an item justification through the finance minister (read wife) before I even get to look at the NEA toys
My Norc seems pretty good (I own 3 or 4 Norcs now and have been lucky with all of them) and it was only $600 CAD. 1/2 the price of any other AR makes the gamble worth it here.
A Norc lower her runs about $250. I am thinking of buying another Norc upper in 10.5"
Project Salamander SKS has failed
i was hoping that, using tiedie, the lighter fibers in the wood will pick up the green tinge but dark ones will stay the same, or could be convinced to go dark with wood stain, no luck, all I got was a green hue all over the stock, and uneven one too
guess I will have to settle for a regular dark stock till I get a taco stock for it
ok guys, little M-14 //BM-59 related question here...
Today I picked up a BM-59 folding stock, untouched, still cosmoline wrapped, question is... does this fit a bog standard M-14 ?
Been googling my ass off, but it's real confusing to say the least,
I known the barrel length of the BM is about two inches shorter then the M14...
I've seen lots of pics of folding stocks M14, but the all look quit alike to say the least,
This is exactly the same stock as I picked up
