A mythical Norinco model 54...better steel than russians,missing the safe,good as a hammer,for opening beer bottles and offcourse shooting.If u make a cross with a knife on top of the bullet than you have some serious stopping power too.Ah forgot it is very slim

Free-floated. Free-floating any barrel makes a huge difference, caliber doesn't matter. My 10/22 is by far my most precise rifle.

I disagree. I dont believe freefloating either a 10/22 or a 16" ar15 will make a DRASTIC difference.

Maybe not in most cases, but I'd want a freefloat handguard on a precision "recce" style 16" AR. Torquing on your vert. grip influences the barrel, and is even more ****ounced when various parts, in contact w/ the barrel, are exposed to heat during prolonged fire.

If I had a setup like this, http://www.centurionarms.net/index.p...art&Itemid=178, I wouldn't want anything BUT a freefloat handguard.

I had a guy put a new scope on it and he found a crack in the upper reciever. So I had him replace it.
He is charging me 180 USD for the work and parts.

That's not a bad price at all really. 'm interesting in the 6.8spc but I think when the time comes to own an AR the rounds will have to become much less expensive. Post pics.

Will do. The 5.56 are not to bad in price. The 6.8 can be, but I can't hunt in WA with the 5.56.
