The Compact could have been made to be more comfortable with a grip extension. Quite a bit of difference between the firearms. It does make sense the compact would not have scored well.

I find .40 a little too snappy for me personally. I'm not well versed enough with .40s to be efficient. I can shoot 9mm all day w/o problems.
I've gotten lazy with cleaning with my Glock. I'll probably clean it after the next carbine match I do.

The more I shoot it, the more I love it.

Haha, true. Well, you already know this much, but get the lady what she likes. You're lucky enough to have a spouse that actually wants a gun, let alone tolerate guns!

Why can't you get glocks again? I remember you said it was fairly easy to get 1911s.

Pic Thread: New camera, still trying to learn how to use it.

Something about the distributor here getting greedy and selling some, illegaly, to Taiwan and Japan and having the Japanese Coppers getting a hold of some. Hence Glock blacklisting them in my neck of the woods. Erm I can technically get a second hand one for say $1200. I'll get an ak instead.

Oh ok, so it's a distribution issue then. Sorry to hear that bro, Glocks were meant to be inexpensive beater guns. $1200 is too much indeed.
At least you guys are still able to own guns. I was at Taiwan last month...a totally gun-free country... and that aspect of it annoyed the living hell out of me.

x2, I'm not really a fan of the AR-15, but for this one I'll make an exception

Nice piece of steel ya got there, don't add nothing to it. K.I.S.S. is a good motto to stick too.

Yeah, in these parts of the planet, I think we're the only ones left that can actually own firearms. We try to compensate for the region by being allowed to own Full auto firearms.

It's funny watching the other Asian tourists line up in the shooting ranges here and pay 5x the normal price to bust some caps. Seriously, it was one of the factors why I didnt feel like staying with my old company, to rectify the situation they placed me in, they offered to send move me to Singapore... and we all know how dry that place is when it comes to guns.
