Bump: I know there must be some more of you out there? :P
I'll pick up a couple at Bill Goodman's. There is a dealer there that has fantastic prices for good finds.Originally Posted by sergey31

Hello REMOV!
You asked me some photos of the mount. It is a sidemount made by finnish gunsmith Matti Peippo. He is specialized in semiauto weapon for IPSC etc.
On the left side of Sako's frame there is ready three M6 screwholes for sidemounts.
Peippo's sidemount is made of frame and picantinny rail. You can choose anykind rail you need, because it is attached with screws to the frame.
All the screws are secured with Locktite.
The sidemount is low enough to use iron sights after dismounting the Eotech.
Added five new guns to the collection today.
3 are crap which I will probably either shoot till the fail or trash. Two are going into the "do not open till retirement" collection.
Will post pics in another hour or so...waiting for an iPhoto update.
Thanks a lot for your reply, spolalik, very interesting mount solutionOriginally Posted by spolalik

Ok, here are the new (old guns)...
Two pistols.
One (top) is a .22 the other is a .32 Magnum (bottom)...both of them crap, but useable. Just cleaned them both. I am a bit wary of the .22 since there is a lot of play in the cylinder.
Both are so, 1900's back alleyway pimp and ghetto...I like the .32 though. Both are top break. Both are Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. pieces...a crap company.
Here are the gems....well, 2 of the 3 at least.
The top is the REALLY nice one. A Winchester Repeating Arms 12 ga. Model 1887, number 4740 out the roughly 16 000 manufactured. Winchester's first lever action repeating shotgun.
M1887 details...
The 2nd one is a damascus double barrel pre-1880 12 ga. with etching and woodwork...slightly used, slight rust...patina.
The 3rd is a reproduction late 1800s Remignton pump 12 ga, produced in 1908 possibly earlier. The only gun of the lot not 100 years or more old...by 2 or 3 years.
This is part of my Airsoft collection.

The two piece firing pin, why in gods name would you do that?Originally Posted by James
Actually if you want to get technical, the firing pin was one piece and the striker was one piece. They fit together with just shy of a half dozen other pieces that all worked together.Originally Posted by bas
The design worked. Worked well. If the striker becomes worn then you simply replace it.
That's your new CETME, it looks pretty sweet, have you taped two mags together? If not can I ask what that is around the mag?Originally Posted by Devgru77
I taped two mags together... I got bored one day and wanted to use the tape in the tool box.
