I shold get a lower, I need to build my daughter a AR for hunting. She has a very short reach and the adjustable stock is the cat's meow. I could use the lower on shorty (7 1/2 barrel) and build a 20" upper for her.

hahahaa...I hear ya, I had one of those lowers and I actually sold it not too long ago, I never used it, kinda whish I had kept it now !!! .....you know one thing that I found out is that for someone that is of smaller frame or 'petite' find the stubby stock from Bushmaster very confortable ! my 14 year old cousin has that on his first AR .......
